After stirring and getting a fire going .... Dana thru out some great French toast ...
Then it was down to the skiff in winds and light rain to check the beaches on the continued mid day low tides.
Guide Ed Toribio taken on some Darma for his Karma ...
Checking the beach for sign and we found some fresh Bear tracks since I was there a few days ago. Still no real fast green-up. In fact the uplands seem to be greening ahead of the beaches.
The State and Federal troopers were out there and came down to the boat and checked our licenses and tags ..... It's good to see them out and about.
After a Killer lunch with Blackened and Deep Fried Halibut .. shucked Crab smothered Salad .. Green Beans .. a little rest we are going to head back to the uplands where we saw good sign last night.
It was a change of plans and we hiked into a tidal flat to see if what the action was.
A good evening stroll ....
Some Honkers looking for a night roost as Chuck checks scans the tide flat for 'action' ...
We didn't spot any Bears today ... saw lots of other game and still had a great day. By the time we hiked out of the tide flat it was past 11 pm by the time we got back to the cabin. We must have spotted over 30 / 40 deer on the drive back in.
