Day 2
Well it was a late night into the cabin and then Adam and I had to work on this LIVE HUNT action and fine tune it a little .... and Ed has lots of FUN STUFF on his lap top that kept every one (except Chuck as he hit the rack ASAP) rolling on the floor.
Talking about the day ... the what if's ... getting a current weather update from NOAA ... talking over plans for tomorrows hunt ... and snacking and 're-hydrating' ... are always on the late evening menu.
We woke up to fresh brewed Darma Beans (raven's brew) ... you know the story ... we needed some Darma for our Karma type action this morning !!!!!
After a killer Crab Omelet, throwed out by Dana, and gearing up Ed, Chuck and Adam head for the Bay.
I will be headed into town for a fuel, propane and a few needed supplies.
A strong storm front is approaching with winds and rain in the forecast.
I made the town trip .... the wind was kicking up good in Craig. Price of gas at the pump in Klawock at the Black Bear was like $4.25 ....
The boys rolled in from the morning skiff hunt ... they sighted one Bear but it didn't hang long on the beach ... they hiked into a large tidal flat and took a good look around. Sighted some Snow Geese, Canadian's and possibly ID'd some as Greater White Fronted ....
And a mother Eagle hard at work sitting on her eggs ....
Adam and Chuck got more CRABS ....
After a great lunch of Chili with fixens .... that Dana cooked up for 2 days.
We head out to the uplands .... quite a lot of snow has melted since we were hunting last week and even though we didn't sight a Bear ... we saw some promising sign.
We will see what tomorrow brings.
