Spring continued (part 2)
Hunt #4
John, Carol and children Kaily, Kenzie,
and Joe flew in from Colorado for a mainland hunt and fishing adventure.
We arranged a vessel with Cap'n Rob of Classic Alaska Charters to base
the adventure from.
Carol with a nice Yellow Eye
Rockfish.
Brian and Kenzie with the Bear
she took from the point just behind Brian's head.
John's with his 5 year old
Brownie that has excellent hair.
Kaily with her big B mainland
Black Bear.
They will be taking a couple of
large fish boxes back to Colorado.
It was a great week in the Misty
Fjords.
Hunt #5
Brady (right) and Allen came up
from UT to hunt. We started out over at Hyder. The hot weather made for
tough hunting over on the mainland. We relocated to Prince of Wales
Island (mid hunt) where Allen connected on this Black after it charged
across the tide flat in response to the call and a Doe that had came
into the call.
The spring season ends:
It was a very good spring season
with 9 hunters skinning 8 Bear (3 record book Bear).
It was a great spring hunt. I
want to congratulate all my hunters.
We all had a great time.
