This was Howie's 4th hunt with Muskeg Excursions ....

Howie's big B&C Black Bear was bedded down at the far edge of this clearcut.

Howie couldn't make it to the Bear so Guide Brian Linville and I did the job. Howie made the shot from the log landing in the upper right corner of this photo.
